beast 1,884
for many years now i've just had two at a time, normally get a pup in when the other reaches 4 or 5 when i was younger i sometimes had as many as 5 but to be honest none of them got the one on one they deserved either training or work wise Quote Link to post
nothernlite 18,089
got 3 and to be honest 1 to many to be fair to them usually take the 3 and work 2 and keep one on the lead and give them turns about the ground i have permission on is vast so its usually no bother for me to work them this way Quote Link to post

Running more than two dogs, especially lurchers, takes a lot of dedication and time.enjoy what you have, keep an eye out for the future and be honest with your own limitations and requirements. If you don't have the space and time to do 3 dogs justice, stick with what you have for now Quote Link to post
