obi2 239
Thinking about getting an addition for my terriers that will hunt/ find foxes in cover and put them to ground. Looking for opinions what would be better suited. lurcher cross or hound/spaniel type? Quote Link to post

spindolero 1,110
will it push them hard enough to make them drop in? appreciate some will drop in with little or no pressure though. depends on the land you hunt too. on the open mountain a lurcher would be best bet , 2 Quote Link to post
obi2 239
I really fancy a springer/beagle. Had a few lurchers but only one would find foxes in cover. How biddable are the spaniel crosses? Quote Link to post

How biddable are the spaniel crosses? they should be fine for putting foxes out of cover, whether they can put any to ground or cold mark not sure - but should provide sport for you good luck Quote Link to post
