Thinking of kenelling a Whippet

(male) with a male Spaniel would it work never had a Whippet.

Any advice please.

any dog of the same sex will fight, and if it really kicked of the spaniel would kill it by time, you got to them. Keep them( solo ) in there own kennel run, better that than come down 1 day to a dead whippet.

Don't look at it by breed, any breed can be a fighter, whippet or otherwise.

Ideally kennel same sex dog separately, a dog and bitch in together, just keep your eyes on seasons etc.

never had any probs with keeping my whippets in kennel way any other dogs they are just so easy to get on way

Food for thought thank you. If I had a bitch would need to seperate come season time so may as well

stick with idea of male and build extra kennel. First thought could a Whippet cope with sub zero temp's

kennelled alone.

There will be types bred.... that would be fine in the cold....

 

But most do suffer ....

 

Nothing stopping you putting a coat on them in the colder weather.... no prizes for a cold dog!...
