Think its a grass snake mate, :thumbs:

 

snapped this little chap only last week,

can get upto 1.5 metres!

 

Great picture , i wouldnt be getting that close to take a decent pic believe me :laugh::laugh:

it was only a tiddler....

mind, made sure all my fingers were well behind the camera! :gunsmilie:

Plug the f****r. One of them b*****ds bit me whilst i was burying my dog.

 

Oh you wuss, they have no venom and are not dangerous in any way. We should be glad to have them little helpers, as they keep the mice and rats down. Mind you when you corner them and the get scared, they can squirt a liquid, that makes cats piss smell like roses :blink: :blink:

i dont think they are as rare in our area hob n jill i see them all the time at my stables and in the hay barn my aunt has one in her pond regularly to i dont know what area Darcy is from but I'm in the surrey area and have seen them lots in the new forest as well
