Before My Life Changing Experience!! Lol Me Bpr And The Dogs Had A Walk

Well not too long before the lass had to go into hospital to give birth me and BPR took a wander with just the 6 dogs for now, few pictures of them all how I can just describe as...... Enjoying themselves!! Including cassie the wonder dog.

 

It started with them getting wet!! How else?!?

The black dog.... has a total disregard....for her safety..... shes fookin MENTAL....

 

And after cassies accident.... she has my heart in my mouth....

considering what shes been through that cassie dog looks great. you can see the muscle wastage in the left shoulder (i assume there was some damage to the nerves serving that area?) but otherwise brilliant. well done

Extent of the damage will never be known.... but her leg works .... just theres no muscle in the shoulder to give it strength....

 

Anyhow..... she had a run at a rabbit on that walk..... shame we didnt get it on camera....

 

And another run today.....shes no chance of catching it.... unless she stands on it by mistake ...

 

But a proud moment....

if it is just muscle wastage due to the leg being immobile then it will eventually come back. if the main nerve serving the shoulder is damaged it should show signs of mending by now if it is going to (cant remember the name of the particular nerve, it runs down the outside of the neck rather than down the spine like most of the nerves in a dogs body).

just googled it, its called the radial nerve and does come down the spinal chord, but exits the chord high in the neck
