Craig Fosse 286
I'm interested if anyone uses their turrets for longer distances instead of hold over? Is their a graph that helps u with the number of clicks? I'm intrigued to give it a go! Quote Link to post

Daz 7 563
Only Used it on Centre fire and Rim fire in conjunction with Ballistics chart and manometer, For accurate Dialling to target with the above Data, not worth the hassle with air gun ranges though atvb Daz 7. 2 Quote Link to post

slave 33
Ft shooters dial in every target i'm sure chairgun provides the number of clicks to dial at different ranges very handy if you have a standard reticule If you have a scope with target turrets it's very quick to dial in a target Edited August 27, 2013 by slave Quote Link to post

ghillies 209
i will be when i get a rail on my rapid, its a bind setting up but once you have your marks on the tape tis a bit intresting..impracticle on a hard shoot while stolking. but ghillied up theres more time etc.. (not worth it up to the 40 mark though in 177) Edited August 27, 2013 by ghillies Quote Link to post
shootinforfood 18
I do on my .17hmr, but don't bother with the air rifles, only need a little bit of hold over as I tend to try and put myself at my zero distance before shooting Edited August 27, 2013 by shootinforfood Quote Link to post

4sight 31
I used to shoot Field Target. Their scopes are high mag - up to 50x and are typically side focus with a giant add on wheel. The side focus is to accurately work out the distance - up to 50yds, a good scope can get to within 1 yard accuracy. The top turret is marked with the distances and you simply turn the turret until the distance is dialled in. I shoot Hunter Field Target nowadays and use a 10x scope, no more fiddling with turrets. Everything is set up for shooting out to 45yds and estimating distance and amount of hold over. Dave Edited August 28, 2013 by 4sight Quote Link to post
