Hawke Waranty

One of my scopes is borked so i was looking to replace it with this model Hawke Panorama EV 4-12x40 AO i have looked on Deben's webpage but the waranty info is limited.

Some hawke scopes come with a non transferable limited lifetime warranty which is ideal as it is for a springer but all it says on the webpage is

Hawke Worldwide Warranty
Wherever you are in the world, you can confidently purchase Hawke products, knowing they will give you years of trouble free service.

I don’t know about the warranty but the Panorama is an excellent scope for the money, I have three; two 4-12x40’s and one 4-12x50. In the past I have had several MTC scopes, two Vipers, a Mamba and I still have a Viper connect; all good scopes but my preference is the Hawke Panorama. The reason I like the Panorama is the sharp and uncluttered half mildot reticle, the field of view, good optics and a price I can afford.

I had a Nite Eye that had an AO problem, Could not find the receipt, but the RFD I bought it from sent it back to Deben, who fixed it and sent it straight back to me! Works properly now!

Just phoned Deben the panorama comes with 10year warranty

I've had that model good scope I moved up to the 50mm ao the 40 had map 6a half mildot is much better!

Just got back from the shop i forgot about the two types of ret was going to get the 1/2 mildot 10x ret but just checked the box and the ret is the map6 which is the best ret for Hft?

If this is the MAP6A (which I think it is) then it is my preference over the 1/2 mil-dot. I find the stadia lines allow for a more precise aiming method. I find the thicker 1/2 MD too thick and clumsy in comparison.

Are the mildots on the map 6a true at x 6 mag or will they work ok at x10?

I think map 6a are at 6x the half mildot are brilliant good floating ret I ordered one that was ment to have ao and they sent none ao I rang hrm sent me the one I wanted next day and I was charged for non ao oh 10x for half mate

The map 6a is a nice looking ret but x6 mag is a bit low if it was ok at x 10 i would be happy the shop was busy so i wasn't on the ball and didn't notice until i got home i phoned the shop and explained but they are out of stock of 1/2 mildot x10 ret model hopefuly i will be able to exchange it.
