zini 1,939
For me i would say its seems to be more down to the balance of the rifle and the what seems rapid lock time. The rifle holds still with ease and sometimes when you move and think you are going to miss the target falls over as the pellet as left the barrel way before you have moved. I also find accuracy very easy with it from a bench rested position. The end results are better than both my pcps. What I mean by that is, both my pcps shoot sub 5p, 3 shot groups at 55 yards, but i can do it more often and what seems far easier with my HW98. In regards to a S2 HW97KT, its not any better or any worse. Its just what suits me better and feels better for me. 1 Quote Link to post

whistler1 26
See Simon the black hole club is luring you into itself . Slowly slowly you will become a member . Resistance is futile I'm afraid. The suspense, I feel it . A cautionary tale ..... Today I wandered too close to the event horizon and was caught in the irresistible gravitational attraction of Black Hole HW98. Fortunately planet 'Sandwellfieldsports' answered my distress call and offered the services of their rescue spacecraft 'Stage1tune'. Their help in lightening my wallet - thereby reducing my mass and therefore the gravitational force - meant I was just able to break free! I post this as a timely warning to my fellow intrepid explorers of the vast airgun universe. Like it...definetly a Treky Quote Link to post

Its not even bedded in at that stage. Did you not shoulder it in the shop before buying it to feel the balance of it mate and know where the balance was? The rifle is supposed to be front heavy as it was designed for target shooting from the standing position. What is LSR? Si. Quote Link to post
whistler1 26
LSR normaly means LOSER. Not a fan of the hw98 then. Quote Link to post

Kgbmark 54
Four weeks down, hopefully only another three to go before I get the call from SFS to say my HW98 is ready. 1 Quote Link to post
GSkye 94
I've felt the stock of the 97' and a very nice stock n'all but how does the 98' differ? I'm contemplating both but more so, which one first. I have break barrels already, such ease to them but is it now time for a UL action? Grae Quote Link to post
