Can't go to work today as all scheduled customers seem to have buffered off to the beach, so I thought I would give the ultra a different scope and try a few pellets. Scope is a panorama ev ao 3-9x40 with the half mil dot, this made for a very light combo that you could carry all night.

Set out targets at lazed 25,35 and 45 meters with 15 mm kill zones.

The objective was to test a few types of pellets that I did not have when I bought the ultras.

These were, jsb exact, daystate sovereign, super domes and ,9.5 gen exterminators.

At 25 Mts off a bag all pellets produced ragged one hole group, 35mts still ragged hole but fractionaly bigger. 45 mts all bar the exterminators were still inside the kill zone and less than 12mm ctc, the exterminators were half inch below kz but all still in ragged hole marginally smaller than the others!

As zini says these rifles really are spot on, they don't mind what you feed them and as long as you keep an eye on what bar pressure you have left very consistent for an UN regged rifle.

Only one down side, I did not shave today and where stubble was rubbing against cheek piece a rubber coating is coming off, showing the green shiny understock the finish of which is more like the black ones, less sticky. Ought to take it back really as I think bsa are aware of the problem but I don't think I'll bother as it's a cracking little rifle that I bought for work, mainly at night so no point in being precious about it.

Regards, Jamie
