Ignore all the mumbo jumbo advice and get it ground out, you are just left with wood chips.

Do we have to think of everything?

The one 8,460
Even drilling holes into the stump they will fill with water and it will rot but takes ages
ginga john 268
Drill some holes and fill with neat SBK, will be dead in a fortnight
jessdale 416
Get some gin in a glass and mix it with elderberry juice. Dip in a ball of cotton wool until the ball has soaked up all the liquid. Then throw the cotton wool away. Walk round the stump, anti clockwise 4 times and then hop on your left foot, clockwise, 7 times. The stump will be gone in 12 days. Or get a stump grinder it will be a lot easier.
The one 8,460
We had a line of cypress as a divider when we bought the house first thing i did was cut them all down and drill the stumps fill them with diesel they where still like that when i built the porch and mono blocked the front garden . i had to use a mini digger to rip them out , so its going to cost you either a mini digger or a stump grinder , Unless you just want them dead and leave them alone
