Blackbriar 8,569
"Money makes Halliburton go round......." (Just re-read Nik B's last post - the only time I've ever seen the words "civilised" and "muslims" in the same sentence!) Leave 'em to get on with it, I say!!

Blackbriar 8,569
Israel is next door - do we really want to start chucking missiles around...........? What I have noticed is that the Arab League is conspicuous by its' absence ! I feel sure their help would be invaluable in settling what is essentially a conflict between two rival Muslim groups. Why aren't Syria's neighbours putting more pressure on Assad ? After all, they are the ones mopping up the influx of refugees, while their whole region is being increasingly de-stabilized by yet another war. I know some countries in the region still have problems of their own, but they surely can't keep looking to us to get involved in wars where our presence is neither wanted, needed or welcomed ! walshie 2,804
I say we shouldn't get involved in another shithole. What's happened is sad, but not our business. We have problems enough without trying to sort out more savages.
Frann 882
Don't you just feel so sorry for Cameron having to cut short his fourth holiday of the year to deal with this and I wonder how much they will all get for having to recall parliament for something that is sod all to do with us
