Log Splitters!!

got one here I borrowed off a bloke that comes into our place for horse feed.petrol engine with 28 ton pressure.it is bloody fantastic bit of kit.tow it behind the disco and will split anything.down at my dads at moment but wil get some pics up asap.

PS I know your not daft but there really dangerous if a log pops out under 10 ton pressure seen some smashed jaws from misuse :thumbs:

 

The splitters you have been using must be shite if a log can pop out.

I have seen the odd mishap with the saw bench. But never a log popping out under load.

 

All our gear is tractor mounted but I put up a similar thread a while back and had some good responses. I will have a look for it matty.

Looks ok matty. But they all look the same just a different colour and stickers. Lol.

 

My only problem with that and some of the other machines is the operating lever location. If you buy one you will soon find out what I mean.

Prepare to get the toolbox out for a slight modification ;-)

To add. I wouldn't worry too much about the unbranded spurious engines. Most are ok and on the upside they are also cheap as chips to replace.
