I fecking hope it's not hush hush or i'm up the old shits creek :icon_eek::laugh: ,but what rex says is true and correct, all the British finches and most if not all of the soft bills are legal to keep as long as they are legaly closed rung with the proper rings or if by some chance(like i have with 2 of my native bullfinch chicks, the hen pulled them off and i didn't notice it untill to late)you have a unrung bird then as long as YOU CAN PROVE they are captive bred (like i can with mine with dna testing as i have both rung parent birds  ) then your ok but to be honest unrung birds are a mine field of trouble and any laspe will bit you in the arse big time  .Bullfinches though are not for the beginner mate and it's worth keeping a few other native types before trying with bullies :victory: .
