Country Joe 1,411
I had the same with my Whippet when he was a pup, but no sickness, had a course of antibiotics, which cleared it up quickly, then a few days feeding Chicken. But I did not wait for four days, before going to the Vet. I would get the Pup into the vet, as four days for a Pup in this condition is not good. especially as the pup is being sick as well as being loose. 1 Quote Link to post
Saluki246 1,053
Starve for 24hrs, then slowly introduce some cooked chicken and boiled rice, with no bone, feed this until the pup stops getting the runs, then slowly bring go back on to its normal feed. If not any better, then go to vet. 1 Quote Link to post

Country Joe 1,411
Getting my pup checked out with the Vet, and temp taken, he was running a temp, and the antibiotics cost me £18, the vet told me it could have been more serious if the dog was vomiting as well. and you state your pup is. sowhat 1,572
My 10 month old pup had it a couple of weeks ago, so I starved her for 24 hours, and then she had chicken, boiled rice, burnt toast, and scrambled eggs. Little and often is the best way, and plenty of fluids She was back to normal after a couple of days. Quote Link to post
