alimac 882 Posted August 20, 2013 Report Share Posted August 20, 2013 Poult realease pellets, then onto standard poult pellets, then a SLOW change over onto wheat.. The longer you can afford to keep them on pellets the better, oh and try and keep them on the same brand that the game farmer uses.. shovel leaner 7,650 Posted August 20, 2013 Report Share Posted August 20, 2013 When i get mine at 6 or 7 weeks they go on early growers which has a higher protien , i think about 23% .Then on to growers till about 12 weeks .then poult release , for as long as i can . But while you should have introduced wheat to them by trailing it about the pen and out side the pen you will find that the poults will scatter and waste a lot of wheat looking for pellets when you do change over !
