Deben 14Ah Lithium Battery Performance

I have one of these batteries and it seems to be running flat quicker than it did,its still in warranty atm so does anyone think its faulty if so I will send it back.I lamped for 3 hours with a 100w bulb and it died on me.it was driving along lamping off the road so was on a fair bit.thanks

i have the 22 amp i was out 4 hours last week and used one light i use a 100w too don't think it should go that fast tbh

I may be wrong but a 100w lamp with 14ah battery will only give you approx 1 1/2 hrs continuous use :-)

Ye well last year I think I used to lamp rabbits for 2 hours on foot before I did the route bk home I did lastnight and I never had it on red.just wondering how everyone else's 14s perform.some nights it seems to die quick and others it lasts

Does cold weather affect them? I think it affects lead acid type batteries. Maybe you won't get as long out of it on a colder night.

Used both lead acid and lithium ion.....the weather does not effect them....it depends on the bulb you are using.....

i get plenty hours out of mine with me we 50 watt lamp

^{i found a 50w bulb is every bit as bright and reachs every bit as far as a 100w bulb with my blitz and lithium 10amp batt}

they are sealed units....and as you said its freezing all winter....lol,so would not be much use if they where shite in the cold weather....

yes that's what I'm thinking because there not so cheap to replace.I have just ordered some 50w bulbs today heard there's no difference

My 10ah will only last a little while with the 100 w bulb in my blitz but it seems to last 10 times longer with the 50 w bulb. Definitely not as bright though and doesnt reach as far. Perfect for rabbits mind

Lead acid batteries run down faster in colder weather...might not be that noticeable but they do. Lithium might be different.
