just out of interest the real wavey coated ones does anyone else suspect beddy in them or am i just uneducated

A friend of mine had an Bedlington dog get across hes Border bitch . Now a long story short when I seen the pups they looked liked fells for the world, so much so I thought he'd made a mistake and a black un had got to hes bitch. I reckon there's got to be Beddy in the fells/ patterdale make up surely.

patterdale

fell (i say are of slighter built lakelands and would also so are red of colour)

 

[Wxm 1,638]

lakeland (relativly more squared head than the fells)

 

 

if i was looking for any of the above breeds thats how id want them turning out.

 

Anything else is a cross of these or with added beddy / border / bull / russel blood JIMO
