Well done to all that attended .

 

What a cracking morning it turned out to be .

Some cracking shooting demonstrated by all under what is not an easy course despite the bigger kill zone compared to a national course. The man made and not man made ( that's another story) obstacles really can test your decision making and shooting ability.

 

What the camera doesn't show well, especially on this episode is I would say that a good 45% of the targets at ODP have a problem to solve somewhere along the pellets trajectory for you to think about before taking your shot.

 

Couple that with a light but misleading left to right wind in the woods and you have a moderately tough course, especially for none professional HFT shooters like yourselves.

Lets all do it again soon and get more people involved next time .

The 60 shot comp is the way ahead.

 

30 with a springer and 30 with a pcp, or if you only own 1 rifle 60 with it.

i was tyding up my Man cave, and was jet lagged i didnt get up till after midday,and thought of going over for an hour.but had to get some shopping in,and other duties i will defo be there for the next one

The clip did edit nicely. I was pleased with the turn out.

 

Someone did make a comment on YT saying the Ultra is a very good gun, buts its down to the shooter.

 

That sums it up really and I agree fully. The potential of it is far more than my ability with it allows me to demonstrate.

 

Its no more accurate than a more expensive pcp, but its defo not less accurate and dont forget its non regged.

 

The HW98 is also brill, and to be fair I messed up not check zeroing before the first round properly on paper and suffered for it. I just shot a magpie target in the head and thought it was still ok.

 

After the comp I stayed and checked zero to find it shooting 6 clicks right. School boy error.

 

Not taking anything away from Rob though. He was on fire with his pcp and he shot good to with his HW98.

The same here, Weihrauch is really growing on me between the 98 and the 100
