Stop Net

Here is a 5 yard stop net that I finished. Made with spun poly with an 2 1/8 inch board giving a full mesh of 4.25 inch with top & bottom selvedged mesh, ready to be used this ferreting season.

I love those 5 yard stopnets would not go ferreting hedgerows without them. I put mine on pegs though, as I find the fixed variety very limiting.

 

 

One placed every 40 or 50 yards at right angles to the hedge both sides of the hedge account for quiet a few rabbits during the day.

I started mine got two needles done and left it to do something else , everytime i see these cracking nets i go back and do a bit more

I prefer my nets with end pins. But I thought I try the fixed variety.
