whippet 99 2,613
just brought a new van yesterday...........Renault traffic 09,....ex council 30k on the clock.....£7800.....fsh. the cnunt thought I was a gypsy ..........I will be if I have any problems with it.......... I like to keep the back clear so I can drive the quad straight in ,.....and chuck the terrier boxes in.......and go fishing etc........ if your just using it for dogs ,then fair enough but mine will be mainly dogs and also general purpose ,.......I might put a few shelves up for ferreting equipment

trenchfoot 4,243
put a false floor in, high enough to slide stuff out of sight, or to stop dogs eating stuff. I put mine high enough to slide plastic trays underneath it. Also handy for stashing rods and guns
TOMO 26,457
Some lads go to great expense putting up dog guards, here's the cheap Tomo way,,,any strong wire mesh you have cut to size,,, then just hold it in place with tie wraps round the head restraints ,,, it's dead easy to remove then if you need to carry somthing long,,, Same as paulus,, mines just ply lined,, and duvet for the dogs to lie on,,,, a big plastic dust bin makes a good place to put dead rabbits, just make sure you tie it in place,,, or when it's full to the top ,, they tip over easy
RossM 8,121
The back of my van, BPR & I threw it together in under an hour, not much to look it but cost. f**k all and serves a purpose, snibs in the corners can have it in or out in seconds,

nothernlite 18,089
mines was a board screwed on the wheel arches the same height as the arches and filled with waxed shredded paper at the back of it
Bobo 135
This is what's in my mates van, terriers up top, hounds and lurchers in the bottom. It's in a scudo, I've got the same thing but with a shelf above the terrier boxes and its inch by inch mesh. It's out the van and for sale if anyone fancies it. All you need is someone to tack weld it in for you. It leaves the middle of the van for seats or jackets/boots etc and keeps all the dogs enclosed in back. Mine was in a Peugeot expert.
