They had one on "Bargain Hunt" earlier today. All present nodded that it was probably African, hand-carved and from the 30's or 40's, but couldn't identify the type of wood. Price agreed at £69, and off to auction they went...............

 

Where it sold for £35 - some 'expert' !!

Nah!! You could get a new one for less than that! :D

Reckon they'll get about 65 quid for it?

I know mate but its not often an original milbro comes up with original rubbers and box, lucky b*****d whoever owns it

Doesnt interest me mate :laugh: .....

 

I like cattys....shooting them..... making them.....breaking them.....

 

But collecting them?.... to sit on a shelf :laugh:

 

I have only a few cattys at a time.... once i dont shoot one anymore...i swap it... give it away etc.....

 

You can only shoot one at a time :yes: ....

 

Id rather collect toenail clippings :whistling: .....

 

But thats just me....

Each to there own mate, im not into collecting anything but still i wouldnt mind having it, and besides each year the value will increase, so it would be a nice investment years down the line

The way I see things is that something is only worth what I'm willing to pay :yes: ........and I don't claim to be an expert like the jumped-up oiks on TV!! :D
