quagmire 6
Hi I have read on the basc website that you should not wildfowl on a Sunday. I was just wondering if it was a criminal offence to do so. Cheers Joe

air gun ant 1,666
I think each county is different but from what I understand, it is illegal to shoot " game" on a Sunday, but ducks geese etc are not game, they class as wildfowl

elmathud 25-06 0
Hi Quagmire, I live in scotland, angus and it is ILLEGAL to shoot wildfowl in scotland on sundays and christmas day. I have looked at BASC "bible" too, there is no mention of your area so if I was you I would contact a local wildfowling club in your area and ask them. Try these Contacts: Traeth Bach wildfowlers 01766 770113 or Cefni Estuary 01248 385564
remi700 99
In N.Ireland it is illegal to shoot any bird or game on a sunday. You can still shoot Non feathered vermin. In the republic you can shoot anything on a Sunday.
