malantone 1 Posted September 11, 2013 Report Share Posted September 11, 2013 In 1975 I joined the Prison Service, standard issue footwear were what I know as fell boots, hob nailed, they were known in the service as Dartmoor heavies, I never had a blister in all the years I wore them. Now I`m retired I wear Le Chameau Mouflon plus, gore-tex lined with vibram sole, now they are comfortable Quote Link to post
