AndyH 52
Just a quick update on her; I've spoken to the rescue centre & she's doing fine. Eating loads and getting much better. I'll be going over later this week to see her and take some bedding and food to donate to the centre. Also, I've decided her name is 'Bean', as my missus got thoroughly confused as to what breed a 'Heinz 57' was when the vet said it. "Ooh, I've never heard of one of those!" Kay 3,709
Dont know how anyone can knowingly do that to a dog .. sickening sight.. lets hope she makes a good recovery & finds a decent home
AndyH 52
Went in to visit her today, and she's not doing great. Health-wise, I've been told she's getting a lot better and looks a bit better too, but mentally the poor girl is damaged. I didn't even manage to get a photo as she spent pretty much the whole time I was there cowering & whining in the bedroom bit in the back of her run & wouldn't come out. She needs someone with experience to take her on and give her a lot of 1-on-1 care & time to help bring her back to normal, which I'm not experienced enough to do with her. She's at City Dogs Home in Stoke, and they are looking for someone able to give the poor girl a good loving home. If you think you're up for that, give them a bell, as they are great people doing their best with very limited resources & need all the help they get. Cheers, Andy
