bilbobagins 92
i have fitted a few titan springs to different guns over the years and would recommend them my mate uses the ox but i find them to harsh, and have seen 1 or 2 guns ruined with them 1 Quote Link to post
WoodsmanJim 160
I put a titan xs in my old gamo cadet, seem like decent springs. Well finished, decent quality and not too expensive. What's not to like? Jim Edited August 15, 2013 by WoodsmanJim Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
I've fitted quite a few over the years and I always used to rate them very highly but a few I've fitted in recent years have failed very quickly. I won't use them anymore. I've been getting my springs from Sandwell fo a while now and so far they've been spot on. No problems at all. If you do get one from them then it's worth shelling out a little extra to ask for a matching guide to go with it. Money well spent. 1 Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
they seem good at maintaining there form and dont weaken .I have one in a bsa lightning 177 perfect fit and power ,but I put one in a webley omega 22 and had to cut a few coils of the spring to get power down . jandcguns 65
when you buy a tuning kit from chanberes gunsmiths they normally give you a titan xs or ox spring of your choice with the kit they are around £50 - £60 but if youve got a good spring rifle you might be better off paying more and getting a ssf tune Quote Link to post

Micky mouse 2
the reason i ask is ive had my hw80k tuned at the local gun shop, planned on putting the v-mach kit in it but he said he had trouble getting the parts so the next step down was the titan, with new top hat and sleeve or whatever it is i wanted to send it to sfs but its too far away to travel and would cost an extra £30 to post. anyway its cost me £145 in total which i thought was abit steep but its come out a new gun! just hope the spring holds out for a good couple of years not like the ones ive been reading about on the internet and im planning on shooting rabbits all bar rodger anyway 1 Quote Link to post
