Aspirin For Dogs

I've got a dog that is on his way out (11 year old Mastiff X, tumor up nasal passage).

Dog's fine and healthy apart from the above, but last night he seemed restless and uncomfortable, which is understandable. This is my sign the dog has got to go, be put to sleep .

Now my son is on holiday until Monday and would love to see the dog before he dies, but I don't want the dog to suffer or be in pain so I have administered Aspirin as a pain killer/anti inflamitary.

Rimadyl or metacam a good pain killer anti inflamitary for dogs,or if you know anyone suffers from arthritis some Mobic/moloxicam does the same job and will help ease his suffering,hope your son gets to see him before he passes,

Sorry to hear this, its the right way to go ,all you can do is make his last days as comfortable as possible.
