pianoman 3,589
Hi Mike. You might be better off with an HW95 muzzle-weight (same barrel dimensions Andy?) or a short moderator used as a cocking aid in all honesty. This sounds an overly long piece of kit, whatever you have on your HW90's barrel at the moment??? 1 Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
She who must be obeyed says if you let her know where to order the bits from she will get them sent to you ok? Will do but a front sight won't go back as the dovetails have been filed off. Chambers is as good as most but hopefully the seals have just gone dry or been contaminated. They're very often the cause for rams leaking. HW really take the piss for a seal set for these. Two 'o' rings and a scraper ring for nearly twenty quid, from what I can remember after postage. secretagentmole 1,701
Simon, had a quick word with Andy. Apparently the bluing is pretty good on the barrel, apparently Andy thinks prior to my buying it it had a fairly easy life. So the best way to go will be to carbine it, lose the marks from the god awful and frankly unnecessary Frankensilencer, so if it is not needed lose the damned thing! 1 Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Oh and as just discussed with Andy, first thing is to replace the Schrader valve as frankly it is knacked! I know, I tried putting air in, the air comes back out! The valve is what is technically known as buggered. The seals may be, but I can guarantee the valve is! I just cannot get the damned thing out!
