My New Set-Up

Just started my new set-up as i moved houses not got all me gear round yet but got it half way there what you all think?

 

 

If you decide i could make some changes to make it look better lads just let me know

i'd see if you can lay your hands on a couple of bigger hutches and runs....

i have them all mate there all round my old house just need to get them round and set-up just thort these would do for the time being

Its only the smallest one on the wall looks a little TOO small for my liking.... but there again they're his ferrets so its his choice where they're kept .... It was just my opinion....

yer mate i understand what you are saying now i have looked at it and it does look a little small from the rest of them should be spot on once all me ages are round and set-up

Well keep us updated to how the set up goes as you add things, i am limited to space here sadly else i would have a bigger run for mine

 

But you have to make the best of what you have got dont you

I would be more concerned about the size of the hutches than what they look like! the smallest hutch on the right of the pic is hardly bigger than a carrying box. Not trying to be harsh, but ferrets need as much space as possible so they can keep fit with exercise so that when you work them they're not trying to do the job unfit and knackering quickly.

Even if you got some drainage pipes: the bendy sort with air holes in and connect those two hutches with a coiled length of the pipe the ferrets would get a bit more stimulation and exercise.

Has it not occured to anyone that ferret uk could possibly have a sepeate run to be placed on the floor & the ferrets allowed to run riot in there , not everyone had vast amounts of garden & space, me being one of them

 

He/she has already stated its not yet finnished so give them a chance please

on one side of my garden i have a run big enough for all the ferrets 2 go in i will get sum pics and put them up 99% of the day the ferrets are in the pen anyway just sumwhere for them to stay whilst my other cages are gettin braught round but thanks for the idea about the pipes mates i will sort something out

I have seen ferrets kept in smaller As long as its clean they will be fine in them hutches
