Finally...... Permission ?!?!

After months of visiting farms, golf courses, quarry's, fisheries, stables etc etc and changing approach several time including letters, business cards, flyers etc etc I had nothing but rejection.

 

None of the above worked, but my wife obviously could see my frustration with plinking in the back garden with my new rifle and decided to take to "Facebook" asking if anyone could help, yes you read that right Facebook haha.

 

To my surprise one if my friends dads has over 8 permissions locally and has been in touch on back of this, he's going to take me with him and wants to see what I'm capable of, he's earned all his permissions on word of mouth for the good work he's done, and said I will need to show him what I can do before even being introduced to land owner and nothing will be just handed over.

 

We are arranging something very soon so fingers crossed I make the grade and can learn things from all his years in the field.

 

I was on verge of giving up, suppose I owe the mrs a bottle of wine this weekend now :-)

good, i got 1 permision then very farm within sight of that one also give me permision, and also both my grandads have farms so they asked all there farmer friends haha, and i now have over 25 perms

I can't believe this, what's going off this week ?!?!

 

Just had a call from a massive estate / Hall with gardens about 10 mins up road, the manager wants to meet me to discuss permission next week. I emailed my flyer last week to about 50 places.

 

After months of nothing I'm just shocked :-)
