Westy76 546
I know this has probably been done to death but anyone got a link to a decent letter? Quote Link to post
Bunny Boiler 177
If you mean a letter asking for permission, forget it. Dress in something "countrylike" that is respectable and go door knocking on a Saturday. Get your name heard. Get your contact list full, and when you have a day out, let them know before and after with a summary if you do well. They'll speak to their mates and so on. I got nearly all of mine as a result of asking 3 farmers locally for permission and telling them how many I took. Offer them some of the bag as a thank you. They will probably say no or only take one, and it keeps them sweet. Its only simple courtesy and to be honest, they can tell a lot by you knocking on their door in the first 3 seconds than you could ever put into a letter. Hell, even invite them out with you on the premise you will show them what to do if they've never done it before! Its all about giving back too! Atb, BB 2 Quote Link to post
