Country Joe 1,411
Years ago the Lads I knew that bred Lurcher to Lurcher, if you were a potential buyer, and liked a certain breed, say a Beddy or a Border Collie, you could guarantee you would be told that it was in the breeding. TheDeal 63
How much does it cost and do they tell you %'s ? Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Had my bitch done last year. It just said "high percentage" greyhound and "low percentage" saluki and whippet. People swear there is collie in my dog so who knows if they are true or not. Quote Link to post

trenchfoot 4,243
at least if you know whats in it (on paper at least!) you have an excuse to blame any faults on one part of its known breeding! I've known a few have it done and seen some very curious breeds thrown up. A Brittany whippet that had saluki (quite probably), GSP ( possibly from an out cross to the brittany somewhere down the line) and SHITZU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to post

riohog 5,729
the tests for breed type are highly inaccurate . dna tests for parentage are virtually 100% providing you have samples from sire and dam 1 Quote Link to post
