johnharris 177
What ammo would you recommend for a Browning T bolt 22 rim, I have been using RWS but get 4 decent shots then one or two will stray off, any advice would be good Quote Link to post
dedger 16
Doesn't really matter what make of gun you use, you can get two guns exactly the same make ,action, barrel length etc and they will shoot totally different using the same ammo. The best thing to do is try a few different brands such as Eley, CCI, Winchester and see what groups best, ohh and stay away from high velocity rounds. Quote Link to post
johnharris 177
Yeah only use sub sonic, really happy with the gun but groups did seem a bit off Quote Link to post
dadioles 68
As dedger says. Only you can find out. Ignore anyone who has a recommendation of which ammunition to use, it is irrelevant. You have to try several different makes of subs and see what suits your gun best then buy a big batch and stick to it. If you still get such a high percentage of stray shots then look elsewhere for the problem as it may be something other than the ammunition. Quote Link to post
