Gaz_1989 9,539
Just landed some awesome ferreting permission. Massive camp site, fisheries and pig farm. Long story short we stayed there last night. Me and my lady went a walk round and it was alive with rabbits. So this morning I went to sign out and dropped into conversation how much damage the bunnys were doing and that I did a bit of pest control. He asked how much I charged I said to you sir not a penny. He is over the moon. And so am I 3 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
3 of them are mate yes. She died 2 weeks after giving birth though. I was gutted. Hope the kits follow in her footsteps as top workers given time. The darkest one climbing up my hand, the albino and the dark one at the top of the second photo are out of that Jill of trotters. The small Poley and the sandy climbing up my hand are off my mate just so I've got some different blood for the future. And the small sandy is my mates Hob that I'm spending a bit of time taming and socialising as it was a bit nippy. Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Got my big Poley hob aswell "Sebastian" who is in a separate hutch. He is happy enough on his own. Quote Link to post
mollski 16
great photos,i think you have far tomany and need to of load a fair few lol Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Haha the hob will be going back to the lad who owns him next week. He won't need a welding glove any more. Lol. Sebastian will be getting the snip in the next few months so he can take my Jill's out of season. Hubbs off here is coming to pick a Jill up when he's got his setup sorted. That will leave me with 4 Jills. I won't breed again then for a few years and I will just put a good working hob over the best of the 4 Jill's. Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
Nice going mate , campsite shut down for the winter and let you do what you want ?. Yes mate camping is just April-September (give or take), fisheries is year round but its only 2 big lakes. The rest is dairy farm and pig farm so plenty to go at. Going have a wander over next saturday morning just see what the crack is. Might drop a little Jill down one or two holes with a handful of nets and see if anything bolts Quote Link to post
