arcpest 6
Thanks its doing ok at the moment but the only thing that I don't like is the hogue over moulded stock its great for the grip factor but it does flex quiet a bit and the barrel is still free floating so for now its ok. Rick I have NEVER liked those Hogue stocks on the Howas although others positively have an orgasm over them, that's the way of life. I was at Bisley on Sunday on 200 and 100 Yards Short Siberia, very gusty, I was probably there or there abouts with my .223 and was happy in the circumstances, nothing wrong with that at 300 yards. Well done, I would be happy with those groups, but my serious completion days are over. The fact is with a half decent barrel and trigger and the right load development that is not exceptional, achieve that in the field and you get Brownie points! ATB! Quote Link to post
arcpest 6
Hi I like the grip factor about the stock but that's it, I don't compete but I like to get the best out of my rifle with my reloads and I try and better my groups as I go im testing some 168gn A-max at the range tomoz and see how they go.
