mikeball 108
Only real problem I can see with the rules you have got is you could have 3 or 4 lads going out with 4 or 5 dogs going out from 8pm till 7pm and then saying his dog caught them all 1 Quote Link to post
spiderfly 111
Only real problem I can see with the rules you have got is you could have 3 or 4 lads going out with 4 or 5 dogs going out from 8pm till 7pm and then saying his dog caught them all sure if they want to do that then there the bigger fools to be honest cause the prize is pride and they have nothing if thats the case 1 Quote Link to post

johnny boy68 11,726
Like everything else on here it'll turn into a dick measuring competition. Nice idea though. 5 Quote Link to post
paulsmithy83 567
The smaller the comp the easier to do, we hold private coursing comps often with say 8 dogs and then runner normally runs winner of another comp that had been run earlier in year. Maybe get 2 small comps together , must have perm to enter and it run alternate in say at least 4-5 hrs a night at least . only two people run a night and most caught on that night wins. But only works if the guys entering arnt knobs we have no officials just a mans agreement we never had problems. Comps really prove nothing tho just that there dog better on that single night/day. We have £100 entry £800 prize money if 8 man comp and We Normally get a comp run within 2 weeks of start Edit to add tho this is thl so maybe best just leave it eh Quote Link to post

spiderfly 111
With good reports so far it looks like it might go ahead some time in the season so get the dogs fit and permission lined up Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
It won't work on a forum. Nice idea though. Just have a little comp with your mates or a few lads you know won't bullshit you. My comp is with myself. Put more game in front of my dog than I did last season. And her to put more game in the freezer. Atb. 1 Quote Link to post

tjones3862 3,423
a nights lamping don't prove much un,less you run all night, till the other dogs fades,, the big test his a good 3/4 nights on the bounce,, putting away around the 180 mark,, that sorts the dogs out,, the comp idea, will not work,,, you can av a comp on the site with no winners and iff lads post there nites out,,rabbits are all leagle so can not see a problem,, Edited August 9, 2013 by tjones3862 Quote Link to post

haymin 2,465
You wouldn't be able to see the date on the paper with a picture of rabbits and a dog you'd have to show the front page ? Quote Link to post
