jeppi26 1,855
birds arent really my thing but i can see how people can be into them ,stunning colours , are they expensive rex Not really mate but it just depends on what your wanting to buy the Orange breasted waxbills are the dearest ones at £ to £100a pair then the parrot finches £50/£ a pair but there are more expensive birds out there and some nice mutations in the gouldians
Outlaw Pete 2,224
When I was in my teens, Rex, I was in this guys place and he had cages, much like yours, with foreign birds in. I'll never forget how one sort caught my eye. I asked what they were and he said " Tri Coloured Nuns ". To this day, I wouldn't exactly refuse a pair of them! Lovely looking birds and with a lot of the sparrow about them. I like sparrows

Outlaw Pete 2,224
..... someone robbed him over £1000 worth of birds FFS!!! Is Nothing f**king sacred any more?!? Sick thing is; Even if ye caught the junkie red handed and gave him the welcoming of a lifetime? It'd make no difference. The Bird Fancier who sent him would just send another! I only put them into breeding cages when thay start showing signs of breeding ie like the cock bird dancing to the hen.I av a 8ft x 6ft flight with a 6ft x 8ft shed attached to the flight for them to go into on a night if thay like and a 6ftx6ft bird room with the cages in I will get some pics of the flight and shed up when I can
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Fireman; Of course, that Bullfinch could now be anywhere in the world. It's like fine art. There's psychopathic personalities out there who have trod their way to the top of the heap on the backs of others. Now, they're filthy rich and still have the emotions of a shark. They want? They have taken and delivered.
