Hi to all,

Very new to the air rifle world and of course this forum, so please be gentle with me until I build up my knowledge!

Let me give you a little background info.

I live very near to a railway line and they have just started to carry out works for the new CrossRail Train line. I have lived in my house for nearly 23 years and never seen a rat. Since these works started my wife has spotted a few, must be now be getting disturbed by the works and making a run for it. We started to put poison down to kill them when i suggested we should invest in an air rifle instead.

Having done a little research on the web and this forum etc I went and purchased my rifle.

To try and cut a long story short, after setting up some practice targets in my garden, "plinking" I now understand its called, to my pleasant surprise both my wife and 18 year old daughter have joined me and are loving it. So much so, I had to go and buy another rifle. So now my wife and daughter share one while the other is for ME! We are now looking to join a club and take this up as a hobby for all of us.

Looking forward to expanding my knowledge using this forum with your help of course.

Here are some pictures of the rifles we now have. Very happy and pleased with them.

Kind regards to all,

Andy

Nice guns you have there

Having recently returned to shooting air rifles myself i have been looking at the Daystate range but it's a bit out of my price range at the moment.

They're on the list for when it's time to upgrade or buy a 2nd rifle
