Following on to Frann's thread, if you like any of the following, you are Irish, or more specifically, a Culchie.

 

This is the abbreviated version. :laugh:

 

A nice bit of ham.
Diggin' Houles.
Saying it's too cold to snow
Tayto Cheese & Onion
Accordians
Gettin clattered in muck.
Spittin in their hands before doing anything manual.
Steel toe caps.
A big bowl of carrots & parsnips.
Saying someone's 'Opened a Book' on something.
Fightin'.
Puttin on a ganzee to stop them from bein foundered.
Saying "Aaah" after taking their first sup of tae.
Being starved with the cold rather than with a lack of food.
Gelling their 1cm fringe tight to their forehead.
Turf, because Sentirl heatin's for weemin.
Givin the dog the wildest baytins.
Givin the wife the wildest baytins.
Rubbing their hands together before tucking into their dinner.
Aetin' a big feed of spuds.

i'm fecked, i was born in wales, my mums scottish (my nans irish and my grandads welsh) my dads welsh (1 of my grand parents is welsh the other english)

 

on a plus side theres plenty of perfection in me so i cant go far wrong

that's the culchie traits, then theres the Belfast traits. its the only country I know off that 20 mins outside Belfast and the accents change dramatically its a heavily influenced land over the many years of conquests and settlers. yet in the good weather its one of the most beautiful places to see both north and south (except during the riots lol)). 1. scullery=kitchen 2. a beg= carrier bag 3.tirle= towel 4. fliers= bunch of flowers 5.tatey farls=potatoe bread 6.shire= shower. theres many more but cant be assed boring yous with it
