killer catch 18
i was out with the dog last on the lamp and came across a barn owl near the hedge line. as i aproached it i realised it was a baby and had fallen out the nest, it couldnt fly and i was in two minds what to do with it as there are always foxes about. i could of easily picked it up and put it in my spare aviary but i could hear its mother calling and the other person i was with persuided me to leave it to nature.(this didnt fill right to me and botherd me the whole night and all of today). once i had finnished work i went back over there and sure ennough it was a few yards from where i saw it but missing its head. what are peoples oppinion, leave it to nature or should i have tried to make a difference my self Quote Link to post

Mr Wilkes 3,031
Difficult one....personally id have stuck it up in a bush/tree as high as I could, on saying that i did the same with I linnet chick but the bugger kept jumping to the ground so I left him to his own devises. 1 Quote Link to post

CrowHawker 227
I would put it back mate they won't reject it if you are quick enough you can't just put it in your avariry that's illegal. Edited August 8, 2013 by CrowHawker Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
I would have put it back and hoped for the best, but I am afraid that is natures way of dealing with things, like it or not. Quote Link to post
