Could do with a wipe of oil. It's as scabby as an old A reg Cortina!!

Moxy, I'll treat it to a lather of oil, lovingly massaged in by my fair hand, when I know its worth sacrificing said oil and effort for... and I'd have gone for a Hillman Imp meself...:laugh:

To be fair the cortina wasn't the best of examples. Some of the relics do scrub up well.

I should have said a Granada!! Scorpio!!

Bosun. You should be able to give it a bit of a spit and a polish but don't expect miracles. It all hinges on what somebody finds when they take the guts out and the likleyhood of getting parts.

It's just a plinker mate.

I think it's what was sold here as the Apache. Like Mick's said, it's a plinker but not a bad one. A little spit and polish won't hurt.

Any idea which Gamo it is?

They're a pretty prolific maker with guns at all ends of the spectrum. Non of them are really what you'd call quality but some can be used to a reasonable extent to knock over the odd rabbit or whatever.

Any chance of a pic to help identify what it is?

Cheers.

NO, elgamo are different to gamo

No they're not. They were sold in the UK under the names of Elgamo, Gamo and ASI. Same make, same company, same factorys.

ah right :hmm:

What's with the :hmm: ? Do you know better??

Right then chaps, the gun is no good to me, TBH i ain't the type to fiddle about with it, so i'd rather give it and put a couple of bob together for sommat half decent.

So, if anyone wants it, Andy, James..?? Give me a shout and either you could come direct or i'll have a ride out and meet you somewhere. I'd like to think that someone who really is into guns, has it for a collection or does it up or sommat...?
