mushroom 12,883
Stewie I would of thought a good staff could bring enough to the table I would of loved to bred my staffy bitch, she had game, drive, brains, stamina, good nose, and train-ability all qualities that could be good in a wee whipx to improve on the shite whip blood  Quote Link to post

Ive tried her with rabbit using the longnets and its the turning that throws her off, because shes slim it gives her more speed than ur normal staffy. But from now til then I could have a decent pup bought, who knows !! Quote Link to post
Stabs 3
Tried to mate my little bitch a number of times to a very good hard blood whippet, but she never took and we found out later the prospective sire was firing blanks Quote Link to post

But from now til then I could have a decent pup bought, who knows !! A well put together staff is rare these days I was very lucky to get my bitch and she did everything Used to use her as a gundog, busher, all rounder hunter she was really fit, lean and fast as fec one time we were running her through a plantation of pines to a line of guns we all lost sight of her and after about 10 mins the rabbits all flew out to the waiting guns with the staff hot on their heals carrying a LIVE rabbit Which she then brought straight to hand. Bloody good dog shame my mam ruined her Before she was ruined Edited August 7, 2013 by mushroom 2 Quote Link to post

The camera has added a few pounds lol Have a friend with a staff from champion show lines, paid big money for him but I wouldnt have the thing about me. I got her as a pet and she just couldn't help herself but follow and learn off the rest of the pack, then one day she was about 6 months if that I took her out with the mates fully trained 4 year old springer and she put up more game than it so from there on I moved her training into that area and she took to it straight away. A few people on here have seen her working or in the comps One very biddable dog with a mean streak a mile wide and balls to back it up 1 Quote Link to post
