mark williams 7,561
Hi all, I am considering getting a German Shorthaired pointer as my gundog and would prefer him outside in a kennel.I have heard that to keep this breed of dog in a kennel really does not suit it. Any truth in that please ? atb. Quote Link to post
jessdale 416
I had one in kennels for 11 years so a load of rubbish. A lot of this kind of thinking is from puppy cuddling types that say it is cruel to keep "their" breed in kennels. A dog is a dog is a dog. Keep it exercised and well STIMULATED and you will have no problems at all. 1 Quote Link to post

stroller 341
They are fine in kennels as long as they get a boat load of exercise and work, High energy dog needs to release its potential Quote Link to post
