This is bollox 16 fatal maulings in eight years considering how many millions of dogs there are in this country that's bloody low statistics to base this on.

shouldn't the figure be "0" fatal dog attacks or am i missing something?

Alot of these were young children within the family home and tragic horrible accidents from what ive heard on the radio,the RSPCA has alot to do with this and as always has an agenda.

Owners of killer dogs may face life ?... Why not .....if you own a dog capable of killing a person its YOUR responsibility to control that dog.

If your dog kills somebody, it is YOU at fault for not ensuring your dog is under control and safe to be around people ,

Result............ one dead dog ......and a idiot of an owner sat in the jail wondering why he got the fcuking to start with, Oh and not forgetting the family who have to come to terms with the fact they have lost a family member due to the fact that some dick head got a dog they had no idea of how to train or control.

That's my feeling to,there's a long term game plan here underway especially with the new DDA proposals ie your dogs in your yard barks at a stranger walking past they feel "threatened" dog could be taken and deemed unsafe.

Maybe I'm reading far to much into it but looking it as a whole it doesn't look good.

As a comparison in statics cows killed more people over 8 years.

Ffs why should you have to control your dog in your own house at lets say 3 am when your asleep and so is the dog and a wee scrout comes into your house to burgle or harm? Ffs the dogs got a life also that is too feel contented relaxed in his own domain. The wasters has again ruined it for the decent..

What about 3pm when a cub scout or girl guide comes knocking to sell some buns or something should the dog be trained to tear into any stranger that aprroaches the house?

 

No dog should be trained to be indescrimatnatley aggressive, defensive yes but too many think a dog attacking somone is part of dog ownership if somone else oversteps the mark.
