Tips On Permission

Recommended Posts

Get a ferret, get permission with that first. Most farmers don't like dogs especially strangers with dogs. Get permission ferreting, earn his trust then ask if you can bring the dog.

spot on, yeh ferret is the way to go, or ask if he got any rats need geting rid of.Dont say the word(lurcher) as most landowners or keepers dont want them on the ground. It was as bad now as it was 30 years ago.I used to go knocking doors all the while where i live, and never did any good, but say shooting rabbits or ferret( no dog) you might get the odd 1 from 15 say ok. So i gave up asking, and just went and out worked me dog, and in some ways when you asked and they all said no, i think they started to have a look out for yah lol, mayb better saying nout in the 1st place .? Get a ferret mate you may drop lucky
