whippet 99 2,613
i would save your shillings and do what the jim does for snipe and get them in warm water for a soak and a rub down , must be as beneficial...... Quote Link to post
moonlighter 1,164
I had one and sold it. I much prefer to use infered heat lamps having above the bed. That helps the muscles after a hard day or night better than anything else I've tried. Quote Link to post
Desmond 480
My dogs enjoy going in the mag box and will stay in of there own accord, its got to be doing something My dogs enjoy getting on the sofa if not watched, do so of their own accord, must be the sofa effect . Dogs like a secure bed, cage with a blanket over it will have the same effect, once the dog is used to it most will prefer that to an open bed. It doesn't relate to it having any special healing properties other than a secure relaxing area to recover. Alan sankey used one....go away Quote Link to post

thefensarefarbutistillgo 2,482
IVE NEVER USED A MAC BOX ON SNIPE,,,EVERY TIME HE ADD A HARD NITE, THAT MORNING WHEN I GOT BACK,,,THE BATH WAS FILLED WITH WARM TO HOT WATER AND HE LAY IN IT FOR 2O MINS OR MORE WITH ME RUBBING HIS MUCSLES DOWN,,,, HE CAME OUT THE LIKE A SPRING CHICKEN,, FEELING GREAT,,EVEN AT THE THE AGE OF 12,,, SO THIS MITE OF GONE THE RIGHT WAY FOR HIM,, IT DEFFO DID NOT DO HIM ANY HARM,, I thought athletes and long distance runners sat in an ice bath after a hard session to help recovery, I'm not sure what an ice bath does but it must do something good for top athletes to do it, that said I wouldn't fancy putting my dogs in an ice bath after a hard days work, perhaps just dip them in a cold icey dyke before the journey home and then put the heaters on flat out on the way back to dry them out Quote Link to post

Haggis81 147
I have heard a story about a guy that had a bike accident and smashed his knee, the knee was fixed up but causes him no end of trouble... The same guy uses an old style mag dog coat and wraps it around his knee for half hour every morning, with out the device he wouldent leave the house because of the pain but with mag coat it makes it bear able.. I have one, if they good enough for every top ghound in uk they good enough for my pot likers 2 Quote Link to post
