hello all members of the hunting scene,i am bullx,i would like to introduce myself to this forum, well where do i start, well here goes,i have been into lurchers and terriers as far as i can remember,i started off with a colliexgreyhound and a russell terrier in the late 70 , i can remember it like it was yesterday, the colliexgreyhound was a good lamper, good to work with ferrets and a good bitch to work with terriers when bushing, then i got my first deerhoundxgreyhound, started to hang out with the big boys, hare coursing, what a sport, loved it ,had my dogs in top shape,as fit as a fiddle as they say here in Ireland, coursed and killed loads of hares with these two,a real enjoyment to have, then got into terriers,in my life i only had one patterdale,a very hard dog, afraid of nothing,a hospital case as my father would say, would not back down to anything which cost him his life later on,from then on i dabbled with lurcher breeding, bred some good lurchers and bred some shit, was big into coursing dogs,i bred some nice suluki x greyhounds, running machines, the only problem i had with them was they had no brain,at the moment i have a one old lurcher that has earned her keep and will live out her life here,i also have a racing greyhound that i was given and intend to breed her with a pitbullx greyhound,i have two terriers,a russell x with was a great sounder in her day and a lakeland x russell which is 13 months old and has not seen anything apart from a few rats,so thats about it,i hope i haven't bored you all :tongue2: :tongue2:

well thanks lads for your welcome,i hope i can help in this hunting forum and hope i can give some advice,

sqirreltail; i not saying that all suluki x greyhound are braindead, its just i made mistakes in rearing them as i reared three together,so the dogs that did not make the grade for me were sold on and the ones that were kept went on to make very good coursing dogs,i also have to say that the bitch,s out of this litter were demons on this lamp, the only problem i found with them was that they would not retrieve to hand, and the dogs of this litter were just lacking that extra gear.
