Sick Terrier Pup ....help!

My Russell had bad rat bite on top of nose from ratting washed it and cleaned out everyday with warm salt water and hybi scrub and then about 2 weeks later out of the blue got a big golf size lump on throat and was dribbering like f**k so took him the vets and that was his lymph glands ! 1 weeks antibiotics was £ and all cleared up fine !! ATB mate

Get them separated ASAP mate,a vets bill could be the least of your worries

you kennel that lot together ? ffs --- expect more than the odd bite and some hefty vets bills unless you separate them .. I hope your circumstances change before the pups are ready to do there job a 60 odd quid vets bill now gives you some idea how much it could cost once they get going ...

long since separated,pups are back in the house now, the springers in the spare kennel now as the fell is in season so the pups are in for a wile at least

ive always had the 3 together and then the 4 terriers together. i had 2 terriers 4 foxhounds and 2 springers together for years, ive worked terriers for a while so i do know what to expect thanks

once a young pups got a taste it can turn nasty fairly quick --i `d consider separating them when your not around even if its in a terrier box ...even 6-8 week old pups will fight to the death..

yep ime building a extra run this week so thats theirs,,i have a sneaky feeling its the springer cross bitch but dont know. even so lesson learned

Bitches in or near, or after a season can be a lot less tolerant of pups.

Glad the pup is sound now, I'd take heed of the warning I was always told and went by what cleanspade has just said " kennel 3 bury 1".

kennel every dog on its own with double small mesh dividing the runs so theres less chance of a dog getting pulled through the wire
