Which rifle should i get?

Hi all im after a half decent 22. spring air rifle. Iv'e got 150 - 200 to spend and ideally want to buy secondhand. Can anybody recommend me a good gun in this sort of price range?

 

Iv'e been looking on the net and im quite keen on the BSA tactical.. would this be a good buy? Has anyone got one for sale by chance?

not really looking for precharged as it would be too much hassle (my nearest gun shop is 15 miles away) thanks though

You should be able to pick up a full power rifle with a scope, new for £200. Have a good look at some sites on the net.

fenix 400s , lightning , exocet XS , all cheap-ish full power springers all carbines with silencers fitted as standard

Have you thought about getting a Theoben fenman or evolution?

These guns have a patented gas-ram. So they work in principal like a spring gun-ie; you simply break the barrel , put your slug in and fire ( no messing about with gas bottles etc) but they are a lot quiter than a spring gun.

Ive got a fenman and cannot fault it.

Thanks for the help and advice guys i was v impressed with the amount of response i got, this seems like a friendly and helpful site so be sure to hear more from me in the future. I'm picking up a BSA tactical tomorrow morning (it's the one mole trapper advertised a couple months ago). Hopefully i should have some fun with it..
