Spent a summer there one time... hunted hares in a fence with a guys young hounds lol he owned the appartment I stayed in... they are mad keen, but only really get a 3 month season each year, to hunt the hare due to weather I think.

Anyway I also had a cat, identical to that one, that hung around my apartment! Love the cricket, and the lizard pictures... I had a lot of fun catching bass or whatever they were in the river, and always getting harassed by the terrapins. I was told to mash bread with cheese and a bit of water and mould it round the hook, lol this bait did not work, but by feck the terrapins loved the stuff, they ended up getting the whole bowl!

Some lovely snorkeling to be had in places... a nice variety of fish and crustaceans... and some of the best wild rides on a moped to some caverna's in the hills with little old ladies that knock up super meals for good prices.., might be different now, that was some years back..

I'm no particularly keen on cats but this one hung about the appartment with its kittns and it was needing a good feed to be honest lol, never done any fishing although I usualy take the telescopic but it was second honeymoon type thing so left it at home noticed the locals were night fishing on the beach, not sure what they were catching

place we were at was a shithole to be honest but I did do a bit exploring and there is some nice places, that beach with the crystal clear water was a wee cove which you had to trek through bushes etc ( the wife wiznae happy ) well worth it though
