killing crew 2,708 Posted August 2, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 how do you build young dogs up trotting at what speed and distances Start mine off at a steady 20mph for 3 mile then upto 41 for the next 2 mile then stretch them off and back to the van where they get a protein shake dont think my legs can peddle that fast If john was trotting lucas in front of you I bet you could johns one step ahead he uses the hydropool. we are just meer mortals and have got alot to learn but hes a great teacher Quote Link to post

desertbred 5,490 Posted August 2, 2013 Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 (edited) trot mine at a steady 28 mph behind the mobility, when get up to 32 they start swaying back and to violently, its nothing to worry about though, they are just wondering which side to pass me on. One thing I couldn't do after it is stretching them off and give them a protein shake Quote Link to post
